Works Flawlessly! 5 by .. Melecio Gonzalez (Indianapolis, IN USA)
If you are seeking a reliable and inexpensive Hot Shoe Flash Receiver this is the product for you! I rarely review products, but I had to give CowboyStudio props for selling a great product at a great price (other receivers will cost 2-4 times the cost than this). I paired my Olympus EP1 with several off camera flashes (FL-14, which came with the camera and the FL-50, which I bought later) and I could not be happier with the results. I have gotten no miss-fires since I've bought it. I am by no means a professional photographer, but I hope to be soon. This product is a must if you'd like to "play" with flash photography on a low budget. I would recommend this product to anyone.

does what is does 5 by .. G. Mortillaro (Gloucester, MA United States)
it works great with the transmitter and other receiver i bought. I some times mix up the channel buttons and the power button when i am not looking...that ends up being the the only issue i have had with this item.

Cheap, plastic, and perfect 5 by .. W. Blattman (San Diego, CA)
It baffles me why people would spend $100 or more on the expensive versions of this exact concept. Literally all I needed was a wireless receiver to fire a group of flashes. I could spend upwards of $300 for the various receivers and transmitter or buy a handful of these for $16 a piece. Not only have I never had a single problem with the 3 receivers I even stepped on one after a wedding reception while putting my gear away. Had I purchased the overpriced versions I would have been pretty upset. But since I only had to shell out $16 for a replacement (which worked just as perfectly as the original) life is pretty good.
Looking beyond my obvious bias towards this awesome device, it does feel a little cheap. An expensive, canon weather sealed, all metal construction product this is not! I wish the battery compartment was a little less loose (a little piece of tape fixed that but I wish they had taken 2 minutes to make the design a little better).

Works Great 5 by .. Davis D ()
This receiver works great. Remember though, this is an extra receiver and you're going to need to already have the cowboy studio transmitter.

Great product, fantastic price! 5 by .. Robert E. Glasscock ()
Everybody else has already outlined the features of this wireless system. Ditto. I couldn't be happier with the functionality, simplicity and price.

Sure, if you want or really NEED to control everything on camera, money is no object and exorbitant pricing doesn't deter you, go for the Pocket Wizards.

Meanwhile, for everybody else, there's this. Thanks, Cowboy.
