This camera lens hood EW-60 for my Eos Rebel is "perfect". I was considering buying one of those camera lense hoods that are bigger, but read how those can effect your pictures. This one is perfect because it doesn't stick out a lot. The bigger ones, when used with flash effects your pictures. Very happy with this one.

Fits my Canon 18-55is XSi digital Rebel lens just fine, as well as my Canon 55-250is zoom lens. Does not vignette or interfere with the outer edges of the shots, and is priced much more reasonably than the Canon brand lens shade.

This lens hood is a little difficult to get on, but you only do that once. I don't like using UV filters so this is a great way to protect your lens. You should also get a "center pinch" lens cap, the standard cap is hard to remove with the hood on.

Nothing special here. Just a plastic hood that cost a fraction of original Canon hood. Works fine.
