An almost must have for all EP-1 / 2 owners 5 by .. Harry M. Shin (Livermore, CA USA)
1. Since I already have the E-620 and several 4/3 lens, I had to get this adapter when I recently bought the EP-1.

2. There's not much to say other than it's well made, it's a no brainer to use / adapt.

3. I've used my 12-60mm and 9-18mm on the EP-1 via the adapter; no problems at all. And photographically, the images look good; ie images are in focus, corners are sharp etc... All the proper data is relayed to the EP-1 (ex: f-stop etc...) and the proper EXIF data does make it to the image (ie it'll note that the camera as EP-1 and the lens as 12-60mm etc...).

MMF-1 Four Thirds to Micro Four Thirds Adapter 5 by .. Michael A. Duvernois (Minneapolis, MN United States)
If you need this, then you should buy it. It works well, is solidly constructed, but is pretty expensive for what it is. It's a mechanical adapter with electrical contacts, and a little bit of logic to report/translate lens information for the camera body. I suspect that a third party model will emerge at a much lower price point, but it may or may not be 100% compatible depending on how well they're able to reverse engineer the interface.

If you have a Four Thirds setup with good quality lenses and want to add a Micro Four Thirds body then this is a good bet. Of course you lose the small size advantage in the process.

Works Great With My 3 Olympus Four-Thirds Lenses 5 by .. Apis mellifica queen (Lakewood, CO USA)
Purchased this adapter at the same time I purchased the Olympus PEN E-PL1 12.3MP Live MOS Micro Four Thirds Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera with 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens (Slate Blue) so that I could use my Four-Thirds Olympus lenses: 14-45 mm; 40-150 mm; and 70-300 mm. All three lenses performed well, and it seems that the quality of image is a bit better than when they are used on the Olympus Evolt E500 8MP Digital SLR with 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 & 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Zuiko Lenses for which I originally purchased them. If you are thinking about buying the E-PL1 and already have the Four-Thirds Olympus lenses on hand, fear not. This adapter will allow you to use the larger lenses on the PEN. I recommend this product.

Great for using other lenses 5 by .. Photo girl ()
I was forced to buy this adaptor due to incorrect advise from Ritz Camera. The lense for the camera I purchased did not fit the lenses that I already had. But this did the trick and I can now use my lenses on both of my cameras. Cost me $167 plus tax, but well worth it.
