Great Lens Set by .. Adam Flanders (Belfast, Maine)
I ordered this worried that the quality (due to the price of these lenses/filters) would be terrible, but I was surprised to get great photos. I have a Canon Powershot S3 IS. The lightweight frame of the lenses feels a little chintzy at first, but the Wide Angle lens works great and gave me some good scenic shots. The filters work well too - I've been able to get richer colors in my photos. My only complaint is that the extending adapter that comes with the kit is so long that if I want to use a filter AND the telephoto or wide angle lens, I have to zoom my Powershot S3 lens slightly so that the actual lens isn't captured in my shot (producing a ring around the shot). However, I've also found this ring to offer some artistic qualities to my shots, so maybe it's a positive thing. I liked the telephoto lens but was not totally impressed - the edges have heavy blurring and color quality is degraded. You'll have to have a tripod if you want to use the telephoto properly. I did find it fun to hold the telephoto lens in front of my camera in reverse in order to obtain a minor fisheye effect!
