I would suggest a stable tripod. I purchased one for about $ 50. Works a treat

Great for the price 5 by .. Bicycle Dame (Richmond, CA)
Perfectly fit the bill for my needs. Had conversations with Cameta rep on the phone - thoroughly helped me with some questions I had. Listened carefully; answered my questions clearly. Ended up buying a tripod. Item arrived on time and was just as described.

Great Product 5 by .. JB (KY USA)
Order arrived quickly. Product was better than I had expected. Will order from them again.

Hard to beat for the price. 4 by .. J. Tate (MO)
This lens amazed me for the price. I tested it by shooting towards a building about half a mile away. I was surprised that not only could I see the details of the building, I could actually see a lamp in a window ... from half a mile away!

It does take a good tripod, patience, & practice to get a clear shot. Chromatic aberration is also a problem, but I don't think you can avoid that unless you spend over $1000+ on a lens.
